had a super stay at the castle hotel. the staff were super friendly and helpful, even when we arrived late. our double room was really modern, clean, and had a huge bathroom with a walk-in shower. breakfast was amaze, with a full english that really hit the spot. overall, the value for money is definetly a big plus!
the only downside was the noise from neighbors that might bother some. a lil bit of updating in some areas of the hotel would be nice too.

Charming historical character, Convenient train station access, Engaging local bar atmosphere
Noise from the busy main road is a significant drawback!!! The lack of adequate parking facilities can lead to frustrating experiences !!! those expecting more vegetarian options on the menu may feel let down!!!

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend excursion in Berwick Upon Tweed with value for money. The Sirloin I had for dinner was one of the best I've tasted recently, cooked to perfection. Make sure to check the bar for great beer options at reasonable prices.

The double room was clean and quiet, ensuring a restful stay. Exceptional staff made the experience memorable, particularly in the bar and restaurant, with attentive service and a tasty breakfast selection. the curtains could be thicker to block out street light more effectively. the check-out process felt slightly rushed at times. a pleasant experience all around.
